    The Invitation

    Everyone has a spirit team. You too. Seven of them working together, plus a few kids who think everything is funny. They're behind the thought that turned out to be right. The song at the exact moment. The thing that made you turn around at the door.

    Most people have full Wi-Fi and never check the signal. Some of you have been checking it for years and got told by every teacher: it doesn't matter who they are. I think it matters. I want you to know who's in the room.

    Four hours. Small group. We call them in and you ask each one for a calling sign. You write to them and they answer. Then we do the part nobody expects — we all draw your guide, without talking, and hold the papers up. That's usually when the doubting stops.

    They don't know better than you. They just know you very, very well.

    The Format

    What actually happens

    Not a lecture. Not a meditation reel. Five things, in this order.

    Your spirit team

    Who's actually with you. The seven roles — communicator, advisers, helpers, mentors, teachers, doorkeepers, chemists — plus the kids. Where they come from: grandparents, animals, teachers, star beings, the odd famous person. And why you're the boss, not them.

    The calling meditation

    I take you in with the heart tree and we call them one by one: your main guide, your healer, your doorkeepers, your communicator. You ask each of them for a sign. A colour, an animal, a name, something silly. We take whatever comes.

    Writing to your guides

    My most trusted tool. I give each of you your own question. You write, they answer. The people who say they hate writing are usually the ones who surprise themselves.

    Drawing each other's guides

    Psychic art. One person at a time, everyone draws that person's guide. Nobody talks. Then we hold the papers up. Last time, someone drew an ancient man with a long beard for another woman's guide. She'd already seen him herself. She just said: “I know him.”

    Switching off

    How to close the Wi-Fi so you can go back to your Sunday evening. And what to watch for in the days after, because that's when the signs start turning up in real life.

    From the last workshop

    “I didn't see anything.”

    That's how one woman came out of the meditation in September. She felt sleepy, that's all. She was sure everyone else had better experiences than her.

    Two hours later we all drew her guide. No talking. One person drew a man in a bowler hat carrying a bookkeeper's satchel. Another said, before seeing it, “a bookkeeper — only numbers.” A third picked up a scientist. Several of us drew red hair.

    She looked at the screen. “My great-grandfather was a bookkeeper.” Half her family has red hair.

    Sleepy usually means you went deep. The rest comes when you stop fighting it.

    Questions

    Everything else you might be wondering

    No. Last time some people had been doing this for years and one had never tried. Everyone got something. I teach in plain English.

    Then you're normal. Some people see pictures, some hear a word, some just feel warm or sleepy — sleepy usually means you went deep. The drawing round often shows you who was there anyway, and the signs tend to turn up in the days after.

    No. My mind is chaos and it still works. Your guides work with whatever you bring them. You don't have to be calm, you have to show up.

    The frame I teach is seven roles working as one team — communicator, advisers, helpers, mentors, spiritual teachers, doorkeepers and chemists — plus the kids. Don't take the number too literally. Some people have more when they're doing specific work.

    Most courses tell you it doesn't matter who your guides are. I think it does. We name them, find their signs, and then check it on paper in the drawing round. Experienced people usually get the most out of that part.
