    Evidence Night

I read for people in the room, live. Names, places, the things I couldn't know. You watch the evidence arrive. Then you decide.

    What happens ↓

Not everyone will get a reading. Spirit chooses. You'll still learn how evidence works.

I was a lawyer for fifteen years. I don't believe anything without evidence.

    Including me.

So once a month I do this in public. I open, someone comes through, and I tell you what they give me. A name. Where they lived. How they laughed. The thing they always did with their hands. Then the person they came for tells me if I'm right.

Sometimes I'm wrong. I say so. Then I ask them for better evidence.

That's the whole night. No smoke machine. Just the work, where you can see it.

    The method

    What is evidential mediumship?

Evidential mediumship is mediumship that has to prove itself. The medium brings through specific, checkable details about a person who has died: their name, their relationship to you, where they lived, their personality, how they died, a shared memory. The person receiving it confirms or rejects each detail, out loud. Evidence comes first. The message comes second. It comes from the British Spiritualist tradition, and it's how I work.

My rule: 60% evidence, 40% message. If it's all message and no evidence, that's counselling. Nice, maybe. Not mediumship.

    What counts as evidence

    • A name, or a name that meant something to them.
    • Who they are to you. Grandmother, not "an older lady".
    • Where they lived. The country, the city, the flat by the tram.
    • Their character. Stubborn. Funny. Never once said sorry.
    • A detail only you'd know. The flour on her hands. The song he ruined at every wedding.
    • How they died. Never first. It brings the whole room down.

    What doesn't

    • "I have an older man with a J." Half the room has one. That's a phone book, not evidence.
    • "She's at peace." Maybe. I can't check that, and neither can you.
    • "He's proud of you." Probably true. Also true of most dead fathers. Tell me something only he would say.
    75 minutes

    What happens

First 10 minutes: how evidence works. I teach it before I do it, so you can watch like a juror, not a fan.

45 minutes: the demonstration. I open. Someone comes through. I describe them until one person in the room recognises them. Then evidence, then the message. Usually four to six readings.

10 minutes: your questions. About what you saw, how it works, why I said what I said. Ask the sceptical ones. I like those.

Last 5 minutes: close. I close the room properly. If you want to go further, I'll tell you how: a private reading, learning to do this yourself in Psychic Badass Level 1, or the weekly Practice Circle. No hard sell. You just watched the product.

    Who gets read

Not everyone will get a reading. Spirit chooses. You'll still learn how evidence works.

About four to six readings a night. Up to forty people. Do the maths before you buy.

I don't choose. I don't take requests. You can't pay more to go first. Someone comes through, I describe them, and whoever recognises them raises a hand. If three people raise a hand, I ask for more evidence until only one fits.

I only read people who said "I'm happy to be read." If you picked "just watching," I leave you alone. Your grandmother might not. I still won't say it out loud.

And sometimes the person you came for doesn't come. I once read for a woman whose mother wouldn't come through. Nothing. Silence. Two years later her mother finally showed up and told us why: she'd been angry, and she wasn't ready to talk.

People keep their character. They don't turn into saints because they died.

    Honestly

    Is this for you?

    Come if

    • You've never seen a medium and you want to see one work before you believe anything. Good. Bring your doubts.
    • Your mind gets in the way. Mine did too. I was a lawyer. This night is built for you.
    • You're learning mediumship and want to watch the method live, mistakes included.
    • You've lost someone and you're curious whether they're still around. Come knowing it may not be your night.

    Maybe not tonight if

    • You need to hear from one specific person. A private reading gives us a full hour and all my attention. Even then, I can't order anyone to come. Nobody can.
    • Someone died very recently. You're welcome. But a room of forty isn't the gentlest place for fresh grief. A private reading is quieter. Or wait a few months. They're not going anywhere.
    • You're in crisis. A demonstration is not the place. Talk to a doctor or a therapist first. Then come. I'll still be here.
    Your privacy in the room

This is what happens, in plain words.

    • At checkout you choose: "I'm happy to be read" or "just watching." You can change it until the room opens.
    • Camera off is fine. Use a first name or a nickname. You're still in. If I read you, I'll ask you to unmute so you can answer.
    • We record the night. Ticket holders can stream the replay in their account for 30 days. Streaming only, no downloads. Everyone knows before they join.
    • Read, and changed your mind? Tell us within 72 hours and we cut your reading from the replay. No questions.
    • Nothing public without your yes. If a moment from your reading would help other people, I'll ask you personally, in writing, every time. You can say no. Most things stay in the room.
    • One rule for everyone: no recording, screenshots or screen capture on your side. What people hear about their dead is theirs.
    In person

    Berlin nights

Four times a year I'll do this in a room in Berlin. A gallery, a studio, a café after closing. Twenty-five to thirty-five people, real chairs, real coffee.

It's different in person. You feel it when someone comes in. The whole room goes quiet at the same moment.

    Dina Hegazi, psychic medium
    About Dina

I'm a psychic medium in Berlin. Before that I was a lawyer. Sorbonne-trained, fifteen years in oil and gas. Then my life fell apart and the dead moved in.

I didn't want this. Lawyers don't talk to dead people. So I did what a lawyer does: I wrote everything down and checked it. The evidence kept coming. Names. Details. Things I couldn't have known.

Now I give private readings, I teach mediumship at The Surrender School, and every Tuesday I run a practice circle online.

The spirits will not pay your bills. But they will tell you their name, if you ask properly.

A monthly live demonstration of mediumship with psychic medium Dina Hegazi. For 75 minutes online, Dina teaches how evidence works, then reads for people in the room with specific, checkable details about people who have died, then answers questions. Up to 40 people, €29.

Mediumship that has to prove itself. The medium gives specific, verifiable details about someone who has died, such as their name, relationship, where they lived, personality and how they died, and the person receiving confirms or rejects each one. Evidence comes first; the message second.

Maybe not. Dina usually gives four to six readings a night to a room of up to forty. Spirit chooses who comes through, not Dina and not the ticket. Everyone still learns how evidence works by watching it happen.

Not at Evidence Night. Whoever comes, comes. If you need to hear from one particular person, a private reading gives you a full hour and Dina's whole attention, though no medium can guarantee who comes through.

No. Readings are never chosen by payment.

Choose "just watching" at checkout. Dina only reads people who chose "I'm happy to be read." You can change your choice until the room opens.

Yes. Ticket holders can stream the replay in their account for 30 days, with no downloads. If you were read and want your reading cut from the replay, ask within 72 hours. Nothing with your face, voice or story goes public without your personal, written yes.

Yes. Camera off and a first name or nickname is fine. If Dina reads you, she'll ask you to unmute so you can confirm or reject the details.

Evidence Night is a group demonstration: you watch Dina work and may or may not be read. A private reading is one to one, for an hour or longer, and focused entirely on you and the people who come for you.

Watch for specifics. A name, a street, a habit, a phrase only one person in the room recognises. Vague statements that fit half the room aren't evidence, and Dina says so on the night. You decide.

Yes, with one honest note. A room of forty isn't the gentlest place for very fresh grief, and there's no guarantee your person comes through. Many people wait a few months, or book a private reading first.

No. It's a demonstration of mediumship. If you're struggling with your mental health, please talk to a doctor or therapist first.
